Day Ride – Crackenback, NSW (Club Event)

  • 15 Jan 2023
  • 08:45 - 16:00
  • Wild Brumby Distillery (for lunch) - TS1

If Saturday rides don’t work for you, then why not join the Club for a leisurely Sunday ride through to Jindabyne and onto Crackenback, for lunch in the high country at Wild Brumby Distillery?

Outbound through Googong and Royalla to the Michelago General Store (coffee stop), then straight through to Berridale (quick pit stop), Jindabyne and onto the Distillery at Crackenback for lunch at 12:15 (Menu ).

Google Maps

Various return options (each to their own and to decide on day), e.g.:

  • Retrace outbound route (see above link)
  • Via Dalgety - Maffra Rd – Cooma: Google Maps
  • Via Dalgety – Berridale – Cooma: Google Maps
  • Via Eucumbene and Rocky Plains Rds – Cooma: Google Maps

Approximately 380 km on sealed main roads.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at Red Rooster Queanbeyan (Bungendore Rd) for a prompt 08:45 departure.

GS Riders: Those keen to detour for fun on gravel or dirt are more than welcome to join en route, or at the Distillery.

Register if you're interested in coming so I can let the Distillery know likely numbers for lunch. Please email Rides@bmwmcc.org.au if you plan to meet the group on the way, or at the Distillery.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Distillery, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

·         Red Rooster - leaving 8:45

·         Michelago General Store (coffee stop) – arriving 09:30, leaving by 10:10

·         Berridale Coach Stop (Jindabyne Rd) – arriving 11:20, leaving 11:30

·         Wild Brumby Distillery - arriving 12:00 (lunch booking @12:15)

Cheers

Karen
