Amended 13 February 2023 - Google Maps Return Option 2 added

If you don’t mind a 490 km day trip, then why not join the Club for a ride to Ariah Park for a step back in time and lunch at its heritage listed federation pub (Ariah Park Hotel)? If you prefer a shorter ride, why not consider the first leg of the ride through to Harden-Murrumburrah for coffee (230 km return)?

Outbound via Binalong to Harden-Murrumburrah (coffee/rest stop), through to Temora (refuel for those needing to) and then onto Ariah Park for lunch at 12:15. Return via Temora, Young (coffee/rest stop) and Boorowa.

Approximately 490 km on sealed main and secondary roads (but expect some damaged road surfaces).

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) for a prompt 08:15 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Pub.

Fuel: Available in Temora (Ampol and Shell).

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) - leaving 8:15
• Barnesstore Cafe (356 Albury Street, Harden-Murrumburrah) - coffee stop – arriving 09:40, leaving 10:20
• Temora  - refuel Shell or Ampol - arriving 11:20, leaving 11:30
• Ariah Park Hotel - arriving 12:00 (lunch booking @12:15)
