If morning cold hanging in the air doesn’t faze you and you’re keen for extra wind chill, then why not pull on the winter riding gear and join the Club for a short Saturday ride to Goulburn Soldiers Club for lunch? If you’d prefer to just catch-up for a quick coffee/chit-chat before the ride, then join us at the Little Sutton Bakehouse noting that we’ll be heading off at 10:30 sharp.  

Outbound via Norton Rd, Bungendore Rd, Kings Hwy, Goulburn Rd and Braidwood Rd (to avoid Tarago Rd) - 115 km.  

Return (to decide on the day):

• via Gurrundah Rd to Gunning and Sutton (110 km):

Approximately 230 km on sealed main and secondary roads. Expect some road surfaces to be damaged. 

Fuel: Available in Goulburn and Gunning.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go (both you and your bike!) at the Little Sutton Bakehouse, Victoria St, Sutton for a prompt 10:30 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Soldiers Club.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Soldiers Club, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Little Sutton Bakehouse, Victoria St, Sutton - leaving 10:30;
• Bungendore Woodworks – arriving and leaving 11:00 (not stopping);
• Goulburn Soldiers Club - arriving 12:00 (lunch booking @12:15).

At this time of the year we’re at the mercy of the weather. If a polar blast comes through, then be prepared for the ride to be postponed to a later date.
