If you don’t mind a longer day of riding, then why not join the Club for a twisty, uphill and downhill ride to Mandurama for lunch at the Royal Hotel (Mando Pub)? If you’d prefer a shorter ride, then why not join the first leg of the ride through to Crookwell for coffee (180 km return)?

Outbound: Little Sutton Bakehouse (meeting/set-off point) to Gunning, Crookwell (coffee/rest stop at Matt’s Bakery Cafe) and then onto Tuena, Trunkey Creek, Hobbys Yards, Barry, Neville and then Mandurama (230 km).

Return: Via Cowra and Boorowa and then home to Ampol/Caltex Foodary at Gold Creek, Nicholls (220 km).

Approximately 450 km on sealed main, secondary and back roads. Expect some road surfaces to be damaged. Note that the outbound route includes roads that are narrow, hilly and twisty with some hairpin bends. 

Fuel: Available in Crookwell, Cowra and Boorowa.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Little Sutton Bakehouse (1 Victoria St, Sutton), for a prompt 08:30 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Pub.

Register if you're interested in coming so I can let the Pub know likely numbers for lunch. Please email rides@bmwmcc.au if you plan to meet the group on the way, or at the Pub, or head elsewhere after coffee in Crookwell.

• Little Sutton Bakehouse - leaving 08:30;
• Gunning (opposite Mobil Servo but not stopping) - arriving and leaving 09:10;
• Crookwell – Matt’s Bakery Cafe (152 Goulburn St) – arriving 09:45 and leaving by 10:25;
• Royal Hotel, Mandurama (14 Olive St) – arriving 12:25 (lunch booking @12:30).
