The Stewart Crossing campground has been underwater.

The MRA Capital Rally is traditionally the first rally of the New Year and close enough to Canberra to make it a day trip or overnight camp to Stewarts Crossing campground on the Shoalhaven River, east of Tarago.  Access from the Nerriga - Braidwood (almost sealed) road then good dirt and concrete causeway or the more bumpy dirt/gravel from Tarago (Mayfield / Stewarts Crossing Roads).  Google Map here. 

This is a back to basics rally, ie: bring your own everything, there are toilets onsite and the crocodile free Shoalhaven River to swim in.  For those that can only Rally with a fire, there may be a fire ban and no wood in any case, so bring a stove if you want something hot to eat.
